In 2015 Zaim entered into an agreement with MasterCard Circuit to have its own branded and operated MasterCard. In 2017 after a lengthy Due Diligence process, Zaim created its own card tailored to microfinance clients’ needs. This card has specific and highly customised operational tools suited for the microfinance market and clients: it is simple, friendly and with no hidden costs. The low-income segment of the population can use this card to access various digital and online services such as renting a movie or buying food online. Since its launch, Zaim has issued over 65,000 branded MasterCards.
